Harris Northrup IV has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Six Pack Companies since 2002. Mr. Northrup previously served as Chief Financial Officer of several technology companies including ReadyWeb and TechNews.com. He also served as Controller of the Main Street Consulting Group and as Vice President of Finance at Brixton International.
Mr. Northrup has been the key driving force behind multiple initial public offerings. At two of his previous companies, he managed all facets of the IPO process, culminating in successful launches valued at approximately $45 million and $62 million, respectively. In his prior duties as Chief Financial Officer and Controller, he has been responsible for annual earnings in excess of $20 million and upwards of $10 million in capital expenses.
Prior to his promotion to VP of Finance at Brixton International in 1993, Mr. Northrup served as head of Accounts Receivable at Brixton and at several other companies in the Seattle area. His career began in the accounting field and Mr. Northrup has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980. In 1986, while at Peat Marwick International, Mr. Northrup earned the coveted David Sinclair Award for Excellence in Accounting.
Mr. Northrup was born in Charleston, SC and is the son of Hon. Harris Northrup III, formerly of the South Carolina Court of Appeals. He holds a BS in accounting from Wake Forest University and an MS in finance from the University of Washington. He currently resides in Coronado, CA with his wife and three children.
