| Description: | Field sales position sells the breadth of the SCA Designs standard and custom apparel line in either an assigned geographic territory or assigned named accounts. Focuses principally on selling additional textile lines or new apparel products to targeted prospects in new accounts or new buyers in strategically important current accounts. Requires a balanced sales effort involving sales/account management skills and product knowledge/problem-solving/solution skills. This position may also serve as a team leader with strategically important accounts. |
| Requirements: | 7+ years of successful outside sales experience; at least 5 years of successful sales experience in the apparel industry. Proficient in understanding and communicating product lines, differentiators, and complex contract conditions, as well as assessing customer needs. Capable of conducting required territory analysis/planning, account planning and business planning. Superior professional presence and business acumen. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel within North America as much 50-75% of the work week. |
