Assures quality backup, configuration, and disaster planning. Monitors and controls network routing processes, and implements network security to provide a stable and secure networking and systems platform. Research and implement new or additional network technology to improve service, both internally and externally. |
| Requirements: | B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Technology or equivalent. Proficiency in TCP/IP networking on multiprotocol LAN. Proficiency in Unix fundamentals and concepts. Experience with DHCP and DNS. Experience with Ethernet VLANs, switched internetworking, VPN, and frame-relay. Experience with Cisco Systems products (CCNA, CCIE is preferred). Experience with protocol analyzers and SNMP based network management tools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly assess and prioritize |
